The members of the Demand and Energy Technology Research Consortium adopt a research agenda every year to meet their needs. DETech projects address energy efficiency (EE), demand response (DR), distributed energy (DE) programs, and value-added, premium products and services.

While the members of DETech drive the research agenda, there may be opportunities for non-member utilities. You may ask about the provisional membership option. Energy utilities which are not members of DETech, but which have an interest in a research project, may complete the Contact Us Form to request a copy of a Statement of Work. The DETech project manager will inform them of opportunities to join a current project. The opportunities for non-member utilities are considered on their merits on a case-by-case basis.
